‘Prince’ Charles Martin defeats Daniel Martz for his 2nd win in a row

In the fight between ‘Prince’ Charles Martin and Daniel Martz, Charles Martin was able to defeat Martz in the 4th round by knockout. Afterward, he claimed that he now wants to have a title fight again.

Martin, the former champion of the IBF Heavyweight division said to media after his win, “I would really like to have a title fight this year.”

As for his potential opponent, he named Manuel Charr and the current holder of the WBC title Deontay Wilder. As for Charr, he has the WBA Belt’s ‘regular’ version.

Martin has been the shortest reigning champion of the heavyweight division. He only won his belt to keep it for 85 days before he was knocked out in a fight against Anthony Joshua which was the first title for AJ.

After that Martin also lost against Adam Kownacki but after Statuary night, he has now two wins in a row to his name.

In the course of 4 round fight, martin dropped Martz two times on the floor along with giving him a nasty cut.

Martin said, “I just want to keep on learning and become a great fighter. I want to fight on the inside and learn everything that is technical. I want to be like the LeBron James of the boxing.”

In other fights of the night, Gerald Washington, the former world heavyweight title challenger was able to defeat Robert Helenius in 8th round of their fight.
