Rob Gronkowski is now no longer the part of New England Patriots as he has retired from the sport last month. However, he might have left some pretty lasting impression on his team as well as their 6th Lombardi Trophy.
The team produced a funny video where the fans of the team get to see as to how Gronkowski shocked his teammates before their celebration event at the Boston Red Sox’s season opener game last week.
Gronk was seen holding the Lombardi Trophy as a baseball bat and asked his teammate Julian Edelman to throw him a pitch with a baseball. His teammates in the video can be seen hilariously recounting the time when they thought that he was not going to hit the ball with the trophy. However, once the ball was thrown he hit really hit the ball.
The resulting pitch left a huge dent on the trophy. This is the video as to how it happened.
