Stuttgart Open; Auger-Aliassime faces Berrettini in the finals

Felix Auger-Aliassime, the 18 years old Canadian teenager is going to play the finals of the Stuttgart Open against Italian player Matteo Berrettini.

Auger-Aliassime managed to reach his third tour-level final of the year without even playing his semifinal match.

His opponent of the semis, Milos Raonic had to withdraw from the tournament after experiencing back problems. The 6th seeded Milos Raonic lost the Stuttgart Open’s final last year against Roger Federer who opted to not defend his title this year.

As for Auger-Aliassime’s opponent, Berrettini, he made it to the finals after defeating German player Jan-Lennard Struff by 6-4 and 7-5. The world rank no. 30 Berrettini is going to play for his career’s third tour title and his first since winning the Budapest Open back in April and Switzerland last year.

As for the world rank no. 21 Auger-Aliassime, he made it to the championship matches held in Rio back in February and Lyon Open held in May.
