Vic Open; Wade Ormsby to take two-shot lead into final round

The Australian player, Wade Ormsby is going to take a lead of two shots into the final round of the Vic Open after the day three under the testing conditions concluded at the 13th Beach Golf Club.

Life on the field was made difficult for the players due to light rain and strong winds. However, Wade Ormsby recovered from an early double-bogey as she shot a two-under-par 70 to move 15 under.

As for the overnight leader Jason Scrivener, he struggled with 76 as he tumbled down the leaderboard and stopped at the tenth place.

Jason Scrivener said, “It was just tough out there. I just kept on grinding. This is all you can do in such weather. You will be hitting a lot of bad shots and need to recover a lot. I did it quite well, so I am happy. I feel good, I feel pretty relaxed this week and I am treating it as a holiday.”

As for the women’s tournament, the American player and leader Kim Kaufman had a late stumble to card 75.
