White Sox-Royals scuffle leads to ejections and many unanswered questions

There seems to be a disconnect between the people who are marketing Major League Baseball or the people who are playing the game on the field.

This contrast was clearly seen in the Wednesday night game of baseball between Chicago White Sox VS Kansas City Royals.

There was already some of the bad blood between two teams from last April when Tim Andersen, the shortstop for White Sox, after hitting a home run flipped the bat against the Royals.

The 25 years old Anderson after making the homerun tossed the bat towards the White Sox dugout. This sit eh type of emotion that people want to see in MLB and are also the part of MLB’s marketing slogan which can be seen in their tweet and social media account, “Let The Kids Play”.

It seems that adults on the field do not feel the same way.

After Anderson came back to the plate in the sixth innings, his backside was drilled by a 92mph fastball thrown by Keller which caused some yelling, benches being emptied in seconds and some expletives were also exchanged.

To make it all worse, even managers got involved in all of this.

After the fight subsided, Joe West, the crew chief umpire ejected Keller and after moments Anderson as well. He also ejected the White Sox skipper Rick Renteria.
