World Boxing Super Series: Yuniel Dorticos secures the final spot with a KO victory over Andrew Tabiti

In the World Boxing Series fight between Yuniel Dorticos and Andrew Tabiti, Dorticos got himself the final spot of the series with a thrilling knockout win.

Dorticos, who has only suffered his career’s sin gel defeat in the semi-finals of the WBS last year, stalled his opponent for long before landing a huge right punch to end the fight in a tenth of the fight held at the Riga Arena located in Latvia.

Tabiti tried his best to hold his opponent at the range during the opening round with his strong jab and fought with the Cuban on a front foot.

As for Dorticos, he upped the pressure in the 2nd round as he cornered Tabiti before he let go off both of his hands. Still, Tabiti managed to land a strong right during the third round.

After having a close 4th round, Dorticos put power in his jabs as he targeted his opponent’s body in the 5tha and succeeded in landing few hooks to his head.

Dorticos, the former champion of WBA upped his effort in the 6th after he suffered a cut on his right eyebrow. He was also favored after one point of Tabiti was docked for holding.

After having a timeout in the 7th Tabiti let go off of his hands but Dorticos managed to put him on the ropes. With 8th and 9th seeing Dorticos putting Tabiti at a range with his long jabs, Dorticos landed a right-hand punch in the 10th to send the previously undefeated Tabiti to floor at the mark of 2:33.
