Bagley’s career-high 24 points lead Kings past Spurs for a win by 127-112

Marvin Bagley III’s alley-oop slam shot was the biggest shot of his in addition to his 24 career high points and 12 rebounds on the Monday night as he led the Sacramento Kings to defeat the San Antonio Spurs by 127-112. He led the Kings for their seventh straight home win of the season.

Bagley said, “I did not know what was going to happen. We were running, he threw up and then I jumped. I was thinking of dunking it backward but I caught it and turned back. It was one of those things that were caught in a moment that I was not really thinking about. I just went u and it happened.”

Bagley, who is a making a comeback after missing the season for one month due to the knee injury, posted his three straight double-doubles in last three games.

Kings

Other players of the Kings; De’Aaron Fox scored 20 points while Buddy Hield added in his 18 points for extending the Sacramento Kings’ longest home winning streak since the 2005-06 season when they won 14 games in a  row at home. This was also the last time when the Kings managed to make to the playoffs but now this season, they are in a position to contest in the postseason.

Currently, Kings are trailing behind the LA Clipper by half a game for the eighth place in the Western Conference.

San Antonio Spurs

As for the San Antonio Spurs, they were led by DeMar Rozen who scored 24 points while LaMarcus Aldridge added in his 22 points for the Spurs. This was Spurs first game on their final eight-game road trip which they lost.

Golden State Warriors

Up next, San Antonio Spurs will visit to play against the Golden State Warriors on Wednesday while Sacramento Kings will host a game against the Houston Rockets on Wednesday.
