The race for the title of the Scottish Premiership had a match between two rivals of Glasgow; Rangers and Celtic and that ended with Rangers beating the Scottish Premiership leader Celtic by 2-1.

Steven Gerrard, the current manager of Rangers and the former captain for England Liverpool said, “This club has not enjoyed much success and joy in the league for a very long time now. We have now come here and are facing real big challenges abut we have dominated the majority of the games. This is why many of the team’s players deserve an awful lot of credit.”

The match sparked into life after Celtic attempted a goal during the 33rd minute but Allan McGregor, the Rangers’ goalie stopped an attempt by Celtic’s Ryan Christie on a penalty kick. The penalty was awarded after Christopher Jullien was pulled back by Rangers’ Katic.
