Grand Prix Hassan II in Marrakech; Alexander Zverev and Cameron Norrie out of the tournament

At the Grand Prix Hassan II in Marrakech, Alexander Zverev suffered an early first round exit in a surprising defeat while British player Cameron Norrie at the US Men’s Clay Court Championship suffered his own first round exit.

The top seed of the tournament, Alexander Zverev suffered defeat in thrilling 3 sets agsint the Spanish player Juame Munar by 7-6, 2-6, and 6-3.

The 21 years old Juame will now play against Benoit Paire who himself defeated the 8 seed player Pierre Hughes Herbert by 6-4 and 6-2.

In other matches Philipp Kohlschreiber got defeated by Pablo Andujar-Alba by 7-6 and 6-4 while Juan Londero lost his match against Jiri Vesely by 6-3 and 6-4.

As for the British player Cameron Norrie, he suffered a shocking early first round exit during his match against the world rank Janko Tipsarevic by 6-3 and 6-4 in match that was held at River Oaks Country Club.

British no. 2 and the 23 years old player was the 3rd seed of the tournament which was held at Houston but shockingly got defeated at hands of a player that was ranked 300 places below him.
