Joel Embiid, Ben Simmons led Philadelphia 76ers to win against Washington Wizards

Joel Embiid, Ben Simmons and 76ers were able to push aside the already shorthanded Washington Wizards on Friday night game.

On the Friday night game between Philadelphia 76ers vs. Washington Wizards, 76ers were able to win against the Wizards by 123-98.

Joel Embiid scored 16 points with his 15 rebounds and Ben Simmons added in his 13 points with his 10 assists for the night before they both sat on the bench during the fourth quarter.

T.J. McConnell was able to help 76ers win their third win in a row with his 15 points. With this win, 76ers have won the seventh game out of their last 8 all the while improving their win stats for home by 12-1.

Embiid said to media that, “this is a great team. We had some troubles early in the season. But I hope that we have corrected them now”.

Wizards were led by Bradley Beal who scored mere 19 points for the night as Washington lost its 2nd straight game.

Scott Brooks; the Wizard Coach said to media, “they outplayed us. They are a talented team. You have to have your entire roster to give yourself even a chance to win”.

Wizards will now host a game for Brooklyn Nets on Saturday night and as for Philadelphia 76ers, they will host a game for Memphis Grizzlies on Sunday night.
