Magic win fifth straight to end 13-game skid vs. Hornets by 127-89

The Orlando Magic ended one streak and extended another one.

The Orlando Magic ended their 13-game losing streak assent the Charlotte Hornets as they won the game by 127-89 on Thursday night behind the 21 points scored by their reserve Terrence Ross.

Magic forward Aaron Gordon said, this is like a paradigm shift for us, if that makes any sense. They have been wiping us for so long but I am glad that w got them this time.”

For the first time in three years, magic’s have won 5 games in a row. Nikola Vucevic of Magic scored his fifth double-double with 17 points and 11 rebounds whereas Gordon scored 10 points with 10 rebounds and Jonathan Isaac scored 16 points.

Vucevic said, it has been a great performance by this team for the last five games. Not only the wins but the way we have been playing. Guys had great performances on both ends of the floor.  A lot of guys scored in double digits. They played well and defended well.”

As for Charlotte Hornets side, they were led by Malik monk who scored 15 points while Jeremy Lamb scored 214 points and Cody Zeller scored 13 points for the team.

This was Orlando Magic’s first win against Charlotte Hornets since December 16th of 2015.

Up next, Charlotte Hornets will host a game against Washington Wizards on February 22nd while Orlando Magic will host a game against the Chicago Bulls on February 22nd.
