Okolie VS Camacho: Lawrence Okolie TKO victory over Wadi Camacho helps him unify the Commonwealth and British cruiserweight titles

The Saturday night boxing match between Lawrence Okolie and Wadi Camacho ended with a win for Okolie at the Copper Box Arena. With this win, Okolie unifies the Commonwealth cruiserweight toile to his already held British cruiserweight title.

Okolie after adapting to Camacho’s Southpaw style managed to deliver some physical encounters as he secured his 4th round TKO victory. With this win, Okolie’s career record is now 12 wins in a row.

The opening round saw both fighters fighting it out in the middle of the ring with Okolie landing some stiff rights which were followed by his lopping left hooks as he sent Camacho to the ropes.




Okolie who got a tick off from his trainer delivered a straight right-hand punch in the 23nd as he seriously hurt Camacho before the bell rang.

3rd round was the first great round for Camacho as he landed a nice left and then traded some blows with Okolie. Okolie was warned in the round for pouching his opponent from the behind the head.

The fourth saw Okolie connecting a huge right that caused Camacho to fell on his knees. This right punch was then followed by another right punch which prompted the referee to intervene and stop the fight.
