Ryan Kalil ends his retirement to join the New York Jets

Ryan Kalil, the 5-time center of Pro Bowl has made a surprising comeback from his retirement to join the NFL team New York Jets.

The 34 years old Center agreed to a deal with the team last week on Thursday and before the deal is finalized, he needs to pass a physical test.

He will sign a one year contract with the Jets for a sum of 8.4 million dollars.

Kalil announced the news of his retirement from the sport back in the last season after playing 12 of the NFL season which he all played with the NFL team Carolina Panthers.

Apparently, over the course of the last few weeks, he had a change of heart that will now have him in the center of the offensive line of Jets. Initially, Jonathan Harrison was slated to start at this position but he has been playing as a backup for the 6 years of his career.

Jets have been training or the last 1 week and now Kalil will have to do more than a month’s work with team’s QB Sam Darnold as well as the rest of the team’s offense.
