After New Zealand suffered a comprehensive defeat against India by 4-1 in the one day International series; they are hoping to regain some of their confidence by defeating India in the white ball three-match T20 International Series match which begins on Wednesday.
The visiting team, India, will be changing their order of openers from their usual T20 format as both the openers KL Rahul and Captain Virat Kohli being absent from this series.
The batting is not only order change that India is going to make as they will be left with some hard choices for their all-rounder; Krunal Pandya and Kedar Jadhav and spinners; Yuzvendra Chahal and Kuldeep Yadav.
As for New Zealand team, they also have their own set of problem with their opener Martin Guptill being sidelined after suffering from an injury he got during the ODI series.
The fast bowler of the Black Caps; Trent Boult is also missing but to fill in his place, all-rounder James Nesham has been called in to join the team for this T20I series.
The form of New Zealand is very terrible in T20 format as they have only won 2 of their last 7 series but the condition of India is more terrible in the shortest format of the game as they have yet to win a series. They last won back in 2009 visit.
The possible players of India might be Sharma, Dhawan, Gill, Pant, Karthik, Dhoni, Hardik Pandya, Krunal Pandya/Kedar Jadhav, Bhuvneshwar, Ahmed, Chahal/Kuldeep Yadav.
The possible players of New Zealand might be Williamson, Munro, Seifert, Taylor, Neesham, De Grandhomme, Santner, Kuggeleijn, Bracewell, Ferguson/Southee, and Sodhi.
