Andy Murray says he could very well play at Wimbledon this year after positive fitness reports

Andy Murray has recently stated that although his rerun to the singles of the Wimbledon is unlikely, he can very well be ready to play in the doubles.

The 31 years old Murray also stated that he suffers no pain after his recent hip resurfacing surgery that was done in January. He now also plans to rerun to the top level tennis once more.

Murray went through with this procedure with knowing that this could either be a chance to save his career or could end it for good.

Murray had optimism for this surgery as the doubles player Bob Bryan also underwent the same procedure last year and mad a successful return to the tennis in little over five months.

Speaking to media about his rerun to Wimbledon, Murray said, “I don’t know. For singles I don’t know, I am not sure. But for doubles, Bob Bryan came back after five and half months of his operation and Wimbledon is also coming after five and half months of my operation, so yeah I have my hopes. I communicated with Bob about this stuff and talked to him about rehab and the things that worked and that did not work out for him. I really cannot answer anything else until is start running myself.”

Murray thinks that he will be certain of the fact if he can make it into the sport once more or not after 6 to 8 months.

He said, “Nobody has had this operation and went on to play at top level singles. So I cannot really say anything about it. The initial signs for me are good. The initial signs of the operation are good. I had this procedure to improve the quality of my life and doing stuff with my family.”
