Celtics hand Warriors worst home loss by 128-95 under Steve Kerr

DeMarcus Cousin lost his cool on Tuesday night while Golden State Warriors lost one of the worst games at home in an embarrassing fashion.

On the Tuesday night’s game of Basketball between Golden State Warriors, VS Boston Celtics, Gordon Hayward scored 30 points while Kyrie Irving scored 19 points with 11 assists to win over the Warriors by 128-95.

This was the biggest home loss for the two-time defending champions the Golden State Warriors.

Cousins and Terrier from both teams got double technical fouls with 8:44 to the play. Cousins was called for his fifth full as he stood over a charge drawn by Aron Baynes as he stood over Baynes in a frustrated manner. Jayson Tatum bumped Cousins with right arm as Cousins retaliated by pushing him back with force. After that Rozier entered the fray and he and Cousins both traded some shoves with each other.

Cousins said after this, “it was silly, it was nothing absolutely nothing.”

As for Stephen Curry from Warriors side, he scored 23 points which include his 4 3-pointer shots while the Splash Brother’s Klay Thompson was sitting out due to a sore right knee.

Steve Kerr, the Warriors coach said, “Klay would have had to play one hell of a game to overcome the situation tonight.”

As for Kevin Durant of the Splash Brothers, he scored 18 points and 9 rebounds while missing all of his 5 3-pointer shots.

As for Celtics, Tatum scored 17 points for the team who after All-Star break lost five games out of six.

Celtics coach Brad Stevens said, “I think, tonight we played with a purpose all the way through. We were very professional tonight. Not even in the game but in the halftime and now after the game. We have not played like that for a long time and it is a reminder that we can certainly play like this.”

Up next, Warriors will host a game against the Denver Nuggets on Friday while Boston Celtics will be playing against Sacramento Kings on Wednesday.
