PSL 2019; Karachi Kings knock Multan Sultans out of the tournament

In the elimination match played between Karachi kings VS Multan Sultans on Monday for the PSL-4; Karachi Kings won over the Multan Sultans by 5 wickets to knock them out of PSL 2019 in Abu Dhabi.

Multan Sultans became the first team in PSL history to not have scored a six in the entire innings as they managed to score only 118 runs. One fast bowler and one fast spinner form Kings’ side were the reason that Multan Sultans could not score much higher. The names of these bowlers are Usman Shinwari and Umer Khan who registers 8-0 and 37-7 in their deliveries.

The game was a low scoring one where towards the end the maiden double wickets from Mohammed Abbas dropped out Colin Ingram and Iftikhar Ahmad of Multan Sultans.

As from Karachi kings battings side, Livingston brought up his fifty which also included his six over the midwicket with only four balls to go. In the end, he was the one to hand Karachi kings their easy win.

With the match ended, Multan Sultans have become the first team to be eliminated from the PSL-4 as they only managed two wins out of their nine matches played. As for Karachi Kings, their chances for Playoffs have now risen as they have now won 4 of their last 8 matches.
