Baltimore Ravens to trading Joe Flacco to Denver Broncos

According to NFL reports, the Baltimore Ravens, NFL team has agreed to trade off their quarterback Joe Flacco to the Denver Broncos.

As for Raven, they will be receiving the fourth-round pick from the Broncos for Flacco.

The trade is still not able to process until the new NFL league for the year begins on March 13th. The teams are also strictly prohibited from commenting officially on the deal or the terms of these deals until then.

This deal, however, means that Baltimore Ravens are committed to continuing with their 2018 first-round pick Lamar Jackson as their quarterback for the next season.

Jackson took over the starting quarterback position from Flacco midway through the season as he helped the Baltimore Ravens reach the layoffs. However, they were defeated by the LOS Angeles Rams.

34 years old Flacco leaves the Ravens after playing for 11 seasons with them. In his career, he helped the Ravens win the Super Bowl XLVII in 2012 against the San Francisco 49ers.

In the last season, Flacco threw for only 2465 yards along with 12 TDs and six interceptions for 9 games.

Case Keenum is the most likely to be traded to Raven for Flacco. Keenum was signed by Broncos for a two years contract for 36 million dollars in free agency. He only threw for 3890 yards with 18 TDs and 15 interceptions.

Although Keenum has a cap hit of 21 million dollars in 2019, Broncos can still save themselves 11 million dollars by cutting him.
