Jacksonville Jaguars 3-20 Houston Texans: Texans clinch the AFC South division

The Sunday night game of football between Jacksonville Jaguars VS Houston Texans ended with the Texan win by 20-3.

Texans were able to clinch the AFC South title in this convincing massive win.

Deshaun Watson threw for 234 yards along with one rushing TD while DeAndre Hopkins had 147 yards for the Texans. As for Jaguars they only managed to make 119 yards on offense.

Houston Texans who started 0-3 on the season won 9 consecutive games and are now 11-5 on the season. With this win, they will now be making their fifth playoff appearance and their third in four years.

They are currently bouncing back from a record of 4-12 of the last year after Watson and JJ Watt both suffered season-ending injuries.

Houston’s were able to maintain a 14 points lead in the first half after rushing TDs from Watson and Lamar Miller. They again manage dot have a 20-3 lead on their 24 yards field goal with only 11 minutes to the game.

Jaguars who are now 5-11 on the season, their owner Shad Khan announced that the team is going to stick with director of football operations, Tom Coughlin, Head Coach Doug Marrone, and general manager Dave Caldwell. Despite another disappointing defeat for the team.

Watson is the first NFL player in history to have at least thrown for 4000 yards, 25 TDs, rushing for 500 yards with 5 TDs in a season. Watson ran for 66 yards on Sunday night’s game.

Jaguars 3-3 Texans: Ka’imi Fairbairn made a 23-yard field goal.

SECOND QUARTER

Jaguars 3-10 Texans: Deshaun Watson made a five-yard touchdown run.

Jaguars 3-17 Texans: Lamar Miller made a seven-yard touchdown run.

THIRD QUARTER

FOURTH QUARTER

Jaguars 3-20 Texans: Fairbairn made a 24-yard field goal.
