Rockets set NBA single-game record with 26 3-pointers in win against Wizards by 136-118

In this season where points have been exploding and 3-pointers have been firing, it is inevitable that few records are to be broken. Saying that the first record went down on Wednesday night.

Houston Rockets in their Wednesday night game against the Washington Wizards set a new NBA record for the new-single game after shooting 26 3-pointers as they won over their opponents by 136-118. Eight different players from Rockets were able to achieve his record.

Ames Harden took the lead of the team on these 3-pointers as he managed to do 6 of his 11 3-pointers and scored his game-high 35 points for the night. Chris Paul made the second best with his 5 3s, Eric Gordon and Gerald Green both scored four 3s, PJ Tucker hit 3 3-pointers, Danuel House Jr. managed to do 2 3s while Gary Clark and Michael Carter-Williams came late off the bench and managed to hit 1 3-pointer each.

Harden said, “it shows the work you have been putting in your game. It is pretty cool to be a part of it. You are now in the books forever.”
