Shakib Al Hasan’s scores a century to lead Bangladesh’s seven-wicket victory over West Indies

Shakib Al Hasan scored his 2nd century of the world cup in a row in a match between Bangladesh VS West Indies to lead Bangladesh’s 7-wicket win over the Windies.

Shakib finished their innings for Bangladesh by completing the chase of 332 runs and became the no. 1 all-rounder of the world by completing his century off of 83 deliveries and finished unbeaten at 124 runs as he shared an unbeaten third-wicket partnership of 189 runs with Liton Das who scored 94 runs.

Bangladeshi team managed to win the match with 51 balls to spare.

Earlier, the Windies side had a massive hope for winning the match as their batting order struck a target of 321-8 with top scorer being Shai Hope with his 96 runs, Evan Lewis with his 70 runs and Shimron Hetmyer scoring 50 runs.

However there dream was not fulfilled after the Windies bowling side could not defend the target.

With this win, West Indies move up tot eh 5th place of the world cup points table by having 5 points in their last 5 matches.

As for West Indies, they fall back to 7th place after suffering 3 losses in their last 5 games.
