Video surfaces showing BJ Penn, UFC Hall OF Famer getting KO’d in a street fight

Video has been obtained on the UFC Hall of Famer named BJ Penn by TMZ which shows him in a fight outside of a bar and then again in the middle of a Hawaiian street. In the second video, it can be seen that BJ Penn was knocked out by his assailants.

However, as per the report of BJ Penn’s longtime family friend named Gary Levitt that it was actually the other man who attacked Penn first.

Levitt said, “I spoke to BJ and he was like ‘I did nothing.’”

The video shows BJ Penn seems to be pummeling a man outside a bar named Lava Shack located in Pahoa which is a Big Island of Hawaii. Penn can be seen delivering three punchers in that video before onlookers intervened and stopped the fight. A woman can be heard screaming “Get Off’ as Penn was topped by the onlookers.

However, another video also surfaced of the said fight which then shows the same man attacking Penn and knocking him out in the middle of a street.

According to the unidentified man who knocked out Penn, he said to TMZ that he was first caught off guard when Penn delivered a cheap shot but then she squared him up.

As for Levitt, he disagrees saying that the first video occurred shortly after Penn got attacked and he is unsure as to what exact scenario led to this fight. Still, Levitt stresses that Penn was not the one who did wrong.

Levitt said that Penn is not clear about why he was attacked because the attacking man was his long-time acquaintance and he got physical with Penn after he greeted him with a hug in the bar’s parking lot.

According to the spokesperson of the Hawaii Police Department, Alan Richman police had been dispatched to the fighting area. He said that no arrest could be made at the scene as the fighting was already over and the disturbance from the area was cleared as well.
