Derek Chisora wins the heavyweight bout against Artur Szpilka with a second-round KO punch

In the heavyweight bout held at O2 on Saturday night between Derek Chisora and Artur Szpilka, Chisora got the brutal 2nd-round knockout win.

The powerhouse from Finchley was able to land 2 huge right hooks on his opponent to wobbled him followed by another devastating blow that sent the Pole falling on the canvas much for the delight of the crazed British crowd.

Chisora was able to finish the 30 years old champion much quicker tha5t his previous opponents like Deontay Wilder, Adam Kownacki, and Bryant Jennings did. Even Deontay Wilber, the WBC Champ had to fight through 9 rounds back in 2016 to stop Szpilka.

With having a little weight advantage on his side, Chisora was able to take the domineering stance in the fight from the opening bell as he started swinging his right hooks from the get-go.

As for Szpilka, he did great to evade these hooks all the while exchanging some punches of his won with his Southpaw stance.

The 2nd round started just like the 1st one but the massive right hand from Chisora came to stagger his opponents on the ropes. The Brit smelling his opponent’s weakness rushed in to deliver the finishing punches.

Chisora said after the fight, “Age is nothing but just a number. I am 35 years old but I still as if I am 16. I still want to fight big fights. We will next try to have a fight against Joseph parker if he does not run like a little Australian Chicken.”
