Ashley Massaro, Ex Female WWE star dies at age 39

Ashley Massaro, the former WWE female wrestler has passed away at the age of 39 years.

Ashley Massaro started her carrier in WWE back in 2007 when she competed in the WrestleMania 23 for the WWE’s Women Championship fight against Melina.

Later she was included in the ‘BunnyMania’ for the Lumberjill match held at the event of WrestleMania 24.

As for her real start in the wrestling world, it started off when she won the 2005 RAW Diva Search and earned herself a 1-year contract to become a valet for the WWE Tag Team champions; Brian Kendrick and Paul London.

WWE released a statement regarding the news of her death which reads as follows,

“We are saddened to learn of the tragic death of former WWE Superstar Ashley Massaro. She performed in WWE from 2005-2008 and was beloved by her fellow Superstars and fans around the world. WWE offers its condolences to Ashley’s family and friends.”

Several of the WWE stars have paid their tribute to once great and beautiful wrestler. One such tribute from her WWE tag team partner Maria Kanellis reads as follows,

“I have no words. Ashley was my tag partner at WrestleMania. My sometimes road wife. We did countless photo shoots and press days together. It seems like yesterday Ashley was a major part of my life and then our worlds changed and now she is gone. I’m heartbroken for her family.”
