Leonard leads with 35 as Raptors win over Bucks by 105-99 for a 3-2 lead

Kawhi Leonard made an appearance in Toronto with an intention to have a chance to win another championship with his already won championship.

He only needs one more win for his team to have a chance at the Championship and the dominance performance he displayed on Thursday is a testament to it.

Leonard led the Toronto Raptors with his 35 points as the Raptors defeated Milwaukee Bucks by 105-99 on Thursday night. With this win, Raptors now have a lead of 3-2 in the East’s finals.

Leonard said, “I am not afraid of the moment. This is what I have worked out for in the summer. It is only a matter of me being aggressive and not shy away from anything.”

When Leonard was with San Antonio Spurs and won the Championship back in 2014, he was MVP of the NBA finals. And after he asked for trade with Raptors, he is now leading his team to a possible run at the NBA championship.

Leonard, who suffered from a leg injury during the team’s earlier two victories, showed no sign of being bothered by it. He was able to hit the 30 points mark for the 4th time in the series against Bucks. Along with his 35 points, he had his playoff career high of 9 assists along with 7 rebounds and his 5 -3-pointers.

Other players of Raptors such as VanVleet scored 21 points while Kyle Lowry pitched in his 17 points which have placed the Raptors in a favorable position to make it to the NBA finals for the first time.

If they manage to win the game played at home next, they will be contesting for the NBA championship against the 2-time defending champions, Golden State Warriors.

Game 6 for the Eastern Conference Finals will be played on Saturday in Toronto.
