Houston Texans 24-31 Kansas City Chiefs; Deshaun Watson leads Chiefs’ surprising win

The NFL game between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Houston Texans ended with 31-24 win for the Texans at the Arrowhead Stadium.  Deshaun Watson was the star of the night with his 2 TDs.

Texans, who are currently 4-2 on the season, recovered from trailing behind 17-3 in the 1st quarter to then hand out the 2nd defeat to Chiefs at home. Chiefs are currently 4-2 on the season.

Since 2013, this is the first time that Chiefs have lost back-to-back games at home, which raises serious questions about their defense that had struggled against Texans throughout the game.

Carlos Hyde, the former running back of Chiefs playing for the Texans made 116 rushing yards along with 1 TD. As for Tyreek Hill of the Chiefs, who was playing the first time after his injury, he scored 2 TDs. Still, the outcome was no different for the Chiefs as the Texan’s QB Watson won the final battle against his 2017 draft’s fellow pick, Patrick Mahomes.

In this first NFL meeting between these 2 young QBs, Watson was particularly impressive than his rival despite suffering from bad drops by the receivers. As for Mahomes, he seemed troubled by his injury as he could only throw for 41 yards during the 2nd half.

Up next for the Kansas City Chiefs is the action-packed Thursday night game against the Denver Broncos; heir AFC west rivals. Following that they will be hosting a Week 8 game against the Green Bay Packers.

As for the Houston Texans, they will be on road trip to face the Week 7 game against the Indianapolis Colts; their AFC S9outh rivals. Following that they will be playing a Week 8 home game against the Oakland Raiders.
